NBA Championship Odds: The Rebirth of the Sun
3 min read
The Boston Celtics are still the odds-on favorite to win this year’s NBA championship, but the trade deadline has caused significant movement in the standings. After the dust settles, obtain the most recent odds.
The NBA trade deadline has passed, highlighted by three star-studded transactions with various consequences for the title race.
The Mavericks initially stole Kyrie Irving from the Nets’ firesale. The Lakers then obtained what appears to be an excellent return for Russell Westbrook. And after going the scenic way, the Suns have acquired Kevin Durant.
In recent weeks, there has been a great deal of moving on the odds board, but we still have a Top 5 NBA odds list that indicates an absolute brawl come the spring.
Now that buyout season has arrived, let’s examine the most recent NBA championship odds, including options for NBA online betting Ph.
Favorite NBA Championship contenders
Celtics, Boston (+275 to +300)
After being the preseason favorite, the Celtics got out to the hottest start in the NBA and haven’t looked back much in the subsequent months.
Under young bench coach Joe Mazzulla, the Celtics have exploited fresh offensive capabilities, while Jayson Tatum has emerged as a legitimate challenge among the MVP odds favorites.

Boston’s net rating and record remain the best in the NBA despite a slew of injuries, despite the fact that a few flaws began to emerge following what was possibly unsustainable shooting early in the season.
As the stretch run of the NBA regular season approaches, it is difficult to argue that the Celtics have not been its finest team.
Suns of Phoenix (+425 to +450)
Up until a few weeks ago, the Phoenix Suns’ season hadn’t quite gone as planned, but they were able to realize some stalled offseason goals at the ideal best time.
The Suns’ patience paid off, as they defeated both Jae Crowder and the Brooklyn Nets to get the basketball rights to Kevin Durant.

Phoenix was able to get Durant for a reasonable price, particularly in terms of present assets, and can now team him with Devin Booker to form arguably the NBA’s most dangerous 1-on-1 scoring duo.
This is a tremendous midseason boost for a team that was once atop the Western Conference. Nevertheless, the Suns’ health will be important, and none of their three stars’ health is guaranteed based on their previous campaigns.
Milwaukee Bucks (between +430 and +550)
Following an inconsistent start to the season, the Milwaukee Bucks have won 12 consecutive games and are only a half-game behind Boston for first place in the Eastern Conference.
Injuries have played a significant role in the Bucks’ season thus far, as Jrue Holiday’s hamstring strain and Khris Middleton’s right knee pain have limited their play. Giannis Antetokounmpo has also required tune-up absences, but the Bucks went 9-1 when he suited up in January, and he remains a beast, with Middleton building momentum beside him.
Regardless of how the playoff bracket forms in the spring, Milwaukee will be among the most feared teams if its Big 3 is healthy.
Denver Nuggets (+600 to +750)
The Denver Nuggets entered the Top 5 last month, weeks after claiming the No. 1 overall seed in the Western Conference.
Despite recent failures in defeats to the Timberwolves (boo) and Bucks (boo), the Nuggets’ offense has been absolutely humming of late, and Nikola Jokic’s three-peat case among NBA MVP odds leaders remains unwavering (understandable).
In their last 15 games, the Nuggets’ defense has ranked in the top five, signaling that they may be getting their act together. Whether or whether they are a solid two-way team in April and May remains to be seen, but they appear to be a greater threat in the West than possibly ever before.
The Los Angeles Clippers (+900 to +1,100) are favored to win the Western Conference
The Los Angeles Clippers have returned to the top five, but their season has been put into the figurative blender.
Once Russell Westbrook was bought out by the Jazz (imagine that dynamic), the Clippers’ stars publicly begged the front office to sign him, and the front office bowed, putting the organization in an extraordinarily high-risk…possibly high-reward position?

With Kawhi Leonard and Paul George fully healthy, the Los Angeles Clippers were establishing themselves atop the West’s play-in tier. But the Westbrook acquisition is such a gamble – while being a talent increase on paper, the fit is unknown.
